A Cold War

A COLD WAR explores the dirty tactics at play as Greenpeace takes on Russian energy giant Gazprom in one of the most gripping environmental battles of the 21st century.

The film follows the dramatic events involving key members of the Arctic 30, activists who attempted a peaceful protest against oil drilling in the Arctic and ended up in a Russian prison facing fifteen years for piracy.

Set against the larger geopolitical power struggle for control of the Arctic as Putin’s Russia pushes to assert it’s global dominance, A COLD WAR follows the lives of four strong characters - Sini, Dima, Denis and Frank as they find themselves trapped in a dangerous world. Where the rules of the game have completely changed and the stakes have gotten a hell of lot higher.
